Knitted Poetry – Storytelling Through Knitting is a collection of  21 knits, each telling a story shaped by landscapes and the quiet beauty of everyday moments. From the soft coastal light of the Finnish archipelago to the faded rose tones of Old Porvoo and the peaceful stillness of summer meadows, these garments create a thoughtfully curated handmade wardrobe.

Photographed in Porvoo, Finland, this book celebrates the connections between generations and the memories of place and belonging.

More than simply a pattern collection, Knitted Poetry is an invitation to slow down, knit with intention and enjoy the process of making something by hand.

Johanna Ekström-Partanen is the knitwear designer behind Auguste Knit. Her patterns combine refined details and silhouettes made from luxurious natural fibres. Living in Helsinki, Finland, Johanna finds inspiration in the coastal scenery, historic places, and the delightful moments of family life. Through her designs, she seeks to capture moments and meaning in stitches, creating connections that reach from past to present. Knitted Poetry is her second book.
